The Christ like life.

Christlike Character.

When Christ saves us, He doesn’t just change our destination; He begins

changing our direction, our desires, and our character.

“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
— 1 John 2:6 (KJV)

The life of Christ shows us what a Spirit-led walk looks like. His compassion flowed

from love, His humility from obedience, and His faithfulness from perfect trust

in the Father. These qualities were not performances — they were the natural expression of who He is.

As believers, we are not called to imitate Christ in our own strength. God works within

us, shaping our hearts and producing fruit that reflects His Son.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
— Philippians 2:13 (KJV)

Christlike character is evidence of God’s grace at work, not a requirement

for salvation. We are saved by grace alone, and from that grace flows a changed life.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

When we walk with Christ daily — through prayer, obedience, forgiveness, humility,

and truth — others begin to see Him reflected in us. Not perfectly, but genuinely.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.”
— Galatians 5:22 (KJV)

Final Encouragement
Let your walk flow from your relationship with Christ. Stay rooted in His Word,

led by His Spirit, and anchored in His grace. As we abide in Him, He shapes us to reflect His heart.

“Christ liveth in me.”
— Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
