Thomas Jefferson was a Virginian born on the April 2 , 1743. And he loved horses, singing and dancing. But he refused to gamble or smoke tabacco. Jefferson was one of the founding  fathers of the United  States of America. From 1801 to 1809 he served as the third American President of the United States of America. He was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.
